背景原理：
本试剂盒选用高质量的htlv抗原包被酶标版，当含有htlv抗体的样品和与辣根过氧化物酶偶联的htlv抗原加到酶标板上是，抗体与酶标板上固定的抗原相结合，同时也与辣根过氧化物酶偶联的htlv抗原结合，从而形成htlv抗原-htlv抗体-htlv抗原-hrp的免疫复合物固定在酶标板上，其余没有结合上去的物质则通过洗涤的步骤而被除去。之后再进行显色反应，在hrp酶的催化作用下，无色的显色剂逐渐变为蓝色。加入终止液后，溶液从蓝色变为黄色。用酶标仪在450nm/630nm波长进行读数记录结果。
